Need a marketplace app (s) that can do the following:
1. HIPPA compliant to secure our contact list, email and calendar info.
2. Allow staff to view a secure contact list that can be updated by the admin via internet.
3. Provide a calendar for each staff that merges into one calendar that can be seen by all to show all their appointments.
4. Allow a way to get multiple word documents from our computer into the cloud and allow staff to create new ones. This must be encrypted or HIPPA compliant.
5. Email that uses our current web domain address: employee@personalgrowthconcepts.com
Hey Carol – I am certainly not a HIPAA expert, but I believe Google Apps actually covers most of what’s required by HIPAA due to the way Google Apps shards and obfuscates any data stored on its servers. For data stored locally, you may need another solution. I’ve heard of some hospitals leveraging Google Message Encryption to achieve full HIPAA compliance.
Sorry I can’t be of more help or give you more specifics, I just don’t know enough about HIPAA. If you can outline specific security needs then I may be able to help.
And of course, for #3 and #5 those come native with Google Apps!
